Sit Start Week 6

Bye: Buffalo, Cincinnati, Arizona, Carolina

Seattle at Chicago 1:00 PM FOX
The return of Jay Cutler. Cutler and the Bears should be in for a good day as the Seahawks have given up double digit fantasy points to every QB they have faced except for Alex Smith. As much as Matt Forte is involved in the pass, I think he has a good day as well. With Cutler back, Johnny Knox will be decent and the Bears defense should continue to be nasty. With that said, I can't really recommend a Seahawk at this point. If they use Marshawn Lynch as the primary back, he should get 15+ touches and maybe a score, but I say 12 points tops. All other Seahawks are bad plays this week.

Miami at Green Bay 1:00 PM CBS
If ever there was a week for Miami to shine, it would be now. The Packers are decimated at defense. Therefore, I really like Brandon Marshall this week, and Davone Bess, especially if you are in a PPR league. Ronnie Brown should be a good play too if he is healthy and not limited, so watch for that on Sunday. As far as the Packers I really like Rogers, Driver, and Jennings in this match up, if Rogers plays if not it severely limits the value of the two receivers. I don't feel confident in any Green Bay runner just so you know. Also, it came out a few days ago that Jermichael Finely is out a new longer estimated 6 to 10 weeks, I think that means you gotta drop him sorry.

San Diego at St. Louis 1:00 PM CBS
Last week I said that St. Louis defense is better than you think.... that could have been wrong. That said, the Chargers pass defense is the best in the league right now in terms of fantasy points allowed. That is inflated however because they have played some real stinkers at QB. This week shapes up to be same way, meaning I am no fan of anyone in the Rams passing attack. Steven Jackson should be decent, but that is about all. For the Chargers, Rivers, Floyd, and Gates should be large this week and I also think this week is the week that Ryan Matthews reclaims the backfield. Sorry Tolbert owners.

Baltimore at New England 1:00 PM CBS
Well the Moss-"less" Patriots play the Ravens, this one could be fun. New England's defense is bad, so you gotta love all your Ravens here. For the Pats I would not feel confident starting Brandon Tate or Deion Branch yet. My suggestion is to wait and see which one seems to be the "starter". I think this one gets into a shootout as the Ravens defense is not as good as you think. Brady and Welker will be solid. Arron Hernandez and the "Law Firm" (BenJarvus Green-Ellis) should be good too.

New Orleans at Tampa Bay 1:00 PM FOX
New Orleans has a great matchup here, but they are so washy I can't trust any of them. I still think given the matchup Brees, Colston, Lance Moore, and Pierre Thomas (if he plays/he should) will all be good starts. Also, remember the Saints cut Carney and Garrett Hartley is the kicker again. For Tampa I can't see a situation where you would start Josh Freeman even though he is decent. I think that Mike Williams is the only Tampa guy you can start. As far as Tampa running backs who knows they probably will play someone who isn't even on the yet. ??

Detroit at NY Giants 1:00 PM FOX
Ahamad Bradshaw says he is healthier this week than last, that said his value goes up and Brandon Jacbos back down. After last week you have to automatic start Eli and Nicks. Steve Smith will be good here too. If Calvin Johnson plays I can see starting him and Jahvid Best, if not I start neither, the Giants will just load up to stop the run.

Atlanta at Philadelphia 1:00 PM FOX
For the Falcons this is not a great matchup. They are a run first team, and so are the 49ers and you saw how they played last week. Matt Ryan typically is not that good on the road so I think stay away from him if you can. I think Turner and Roddy White to have good games here and Tony Gonzalez too. For Philly it depends on who the QB is, you will start LeSean McCoy and Maclin regardless. I only feel good about Celek if Kolb plays. That said if Kolb plays I would seriously think about not playing him. If Vick plays I ride him to a victory.

Cleveland at Pittsburgh 1:00 PM CBS
I have to be Peyton Hillis' biggest fan. With that said, I only think he will be decent this week, because with Colt McCoy getting the start, I don't imagine much throwing success (it's the Steelers here). Hillis should get a lot of chances though, but the fact that it's Pittsburgh and he is banged up makes me a bit iffy. As far as the Steelers are concerned, I expect them to have a big day at home welcoming back Big Ben. Start 'em all.

Kansas City at Houston 1:00 PM CBS
The Chiefs defense is not bad at all. You really need to consider this when thinking of playing there guys. Just look at what they did to the Colts last week, it was ugly. I think for the Texans you start Foster and Andre Johnson and that's it. For Kansas City, no team in the NFL gives up more passing yards than the Texans so start Matt Cassel, right? Ha no... I think the only Chiefs I start are Jamaal Charles and TE Tony Moeaki.

Oakland at San Francisco 4:05 PM CBS
As long as Alex Smith is the QB I only feel comfortable starting Gore and Vernon Davis. There was a Michael Crabtree sighting last week, more on that at 11. For Oakland, that one guy is the QB again. Wha'ts his name? Oh, Jason Campbell. Even with him, playing the 49ers defense is not great. I still like Louis Murphy, Zack Miller, and Michael Bush.

NY Jets at Denver 4:05 PM CBS
All Denver can do is throw, which becomes real difficult against the Jets, however I am still buying in on Ortin and the boys. Start all of them, Ortin, Lloyd, Gaffney and Royal. Start no Denver RB....none. For the Jets, Mark Sanchez has become an interesting play and I actually like him in this matchup. I think that LT will be huge. Shone Green will make a good flex this week, I just feel it. Other than that, you start Holmes and Dustin Keller, and possibly Braylon Edwards who still leads the team in targets last week even though Holmes was back.

Indianapolis at Washington 8:20 PM NBC
The Colts should be huge in this one, Manning is my pick for most points this week. Wayne, Collie, Witten, and Garcon should all be good, especially since you consider that all the Colts runners are banged up and they may need to throw more. For Washington I think that McNabb will be ok, not great. I do think that Ryan Torain will be great this week. The Colts run defense is bad so I will take my chances. Santana Moss will be decent and Chris Cooley should be ok too.

Monday Night
Tennessee at Jacksonville 8:30 PM
Jacksonville is a bad road team, good thing they are at home for this one. That said, Vince Young and the Titans passing game looked good last week. If you need a bye week QB, I like Vince as good as any that might be out there. As for Vince playing, well I think you start Kenny Britt and Nate Washington as well. Oh, and there is this one running back at Tennessee that you will want to start too. I think that Chris Johnson has over 150 yards in this game? For Jacksonville, what can you say, they are not that good, let's say that. I think that MJD, Mike Thomas, and Marcedes Lewis will be decent, not good and definitely not great.

Game of the Week
Dallas at Minnesota 4:15 PM FOX

Don't you just love to see two struggling teams play?

I think Dallas finally looks like Dallas here, I start them all. Even *gasp* Roy Williams. Felex Jones is still the guy you want, even though the "Boys" say Barber is the starter. As far as "Old Grey Beard and the Horn Hats" are concerned, you start Peterson and Moss and leave the rest on the bench. I think they are in more disarray than Dallas. Is that even possible?
